What is an ATS score, and what is a good one?
Our Quality Score (out of 100) estimates how safely a resume parses and how strong its content is: format, sections, metrics in bullets, hygiene. Needs work is below 60, Good is 60–79, Strong is 80 and above. Aim for 85+. If you paste a JD you also get a Match Score for keyword fit; aim for 75+. Neither is any employer's ATS verdict. Do I need a photo on my resume in India?
For IT, corporate and startup roles: no. Parsers skip or choke on images and many recruiters prefer none. Hospitality, some sales roles and government forms do ask for one, so the Government/PSU template supports a photo. Corporate templates never render it.
Should I add 10th and 12th marks?
If you are a fresher applying to IT services (TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant), yes: their cutoffs (usually 60% or 6.5 CGPA) are checked. After two or three years of experience, drop them. The Fresher preset shows them; the Product preset hides them.
Is one page enough?
For freshers and up to about three years, one page is the expectation. Beyond that, two pages are fine. The builder caps length per preset and tells you when you are over.
PDF or DOCX for Naukri?
Upload the PDF. It is a real text-layer PDF, so Naukri, LinkedIn and company portals parse it. DOCX is for recruiters who ask for an editable file; the text order in both is identical.
Can I make a resume for TCS NQT here?
Yes. Pick the Fresher or IT services preset; it keeps CGPA, 10th/12th, a Technical Environment line per project, and the section order those portals expect. See the resume-format guides for TCS, Infosys, Wipro and other employers.
Does it support Hindi?
You can chat in Hinglish or Hindi; the reviewer replies in the same register. The resume itself is written in English, because that is what Indian recruiters and portals read. A Hindi interface is on the roadmap.
How do you keep my data private?
Your resume is yours. Export it as JSON or delete it with one click from the dashboard. Drafts you never save are deleted after 30 days; uploaded files after 90 days. We block Aadhaar, PAN, passport and bank numbers from ever entering a resume. See the privacy page.
