Resume for Accenture: writing evidence for each qualification
Large multinationals increasingly screen against a posting qualification by qualification. We have no verified details of Accenture's own systems, so this page teaches the habit that works with any of them: for every requirement, have one line that proves it.

In short
- We could not verify which systems Accenture uses now. Our research says MNCs and global capability centres commonly run Workday, SuccessFactors or Taleo-class tools, which is a pattern, not a statement about one company.
- Screening tools in this class check each requirement against your parsed resume and point to the section that proves it. Standard headings and visible evidence help.
- For every must-have in the posting, find the line that proves it. If no line does, either add a true one or accept the gap.
- Check every pre-filled field on the portal; parsers do not always fill Skills and Languages.
What we know, and what we do not
Why 'evidence per qualification' is the useful idea
Workday's HiredScore release notes of August 2026 describe a language-model approach that evaluates each screenable qualification individually against the parsed resume, explains its verdict in plain language and points to the sections it relied on, such as experience, education, skills, certifications and the summary. The same documentation says no grade is assigned when a resume cannot be parsed. Two practical consequences follow. Use standard section headings so the evidence can be located. And make each requirement in the posting visible as a line that proves it.
| Posting says | A line that proves it | A line that does not |
|---|---|---|
| 3+ years of Salesforce development | Built 30+ Apex classes and 12 Lightning web components over 3 years for retail clients | Salesforce expert |
| Experience with REST integrations | Integrated Salesforce with an order system through 6 REST APIs, removing 3 hours of daily manual entry | Knowledge of integrations |
| Works with global stakeholders | Present weekly demos to stakeholders in London and Singapore | Good communication |
| Agile delivery | Delivered 14 two-week sprints in a 9-member team and tracked work in JIRA | Agile methodology |
A layout that a Workday-class system reads cleanly
- 01
Standard headings
Summary, Skills, Experience, Education, Certifications. Creative headings hide evidence from a section-based reader.
- 02
Contact details in the body
Not in the page header or footer, which several parsers skip.
- 03
Dates as month and year
Jun 2022 – Present. Year-only ranges make tenure ambiguous.
- 04
No images, tables or text boxes
Workday's own guidance says to avoid images and image-based styles.
- 05
Check the pre-filled form
Workday's documentation says its parse does not fill Languages and Skills, so type them in and verify every other field.
From delivery language to outcome language
Resumes from services backgrounds often describe the engagement ('worked on client project') and not the result. Recruiters at global centres, according to the commentary we reviewed, screen out that language rather than the services background itself. Rewriting the same work around its outcome is the fix.
- Before
Worked on client project for retail domain
AfterRedesigned lead-routing logic for a retail client's 450-person sales team so leads reach the right territory owner in 15 minutes, not 2 days
WhyNames the scale, the change and the before-and-after. The client's industry stays; the client's name can stay off.
- Before
Provided L2 support
AfterClosed 120 L2 tickets in a quarter for a telecom client within an 8-hour SLA and traced 12 repeat causes to 3 permanent fixes
WhyVolume, SLA and a lasting change, in place of a duty.
- Before
Coordinated with onsite team
AfterJoined a weekly call with the London team to agree scope and cut change-request rework from 7 items a sprint to 2
WhyShows what the coordination achieved. 'Coordinated with' alone says only that meetings happened.
Certifications and the long posting
Certifications from the platform vendor, with the issue year, carry weight in this segment. Keep them current and list only those you hold. When a posting lists fifteen requirements, prove the five that are must-haves and do not claim all fifteen. A resume that claims everything and evidences little reads like keyword stuffing, and ranking tools that check evidence per skill will show the gap. See ATS-friendly resume in India for the wider rules.
Before you submit: a short checklist
- For every must-have in the posting, I can point to the line that proves it.
- Headings are standard, contact details are in the body, dates are month and year.
- No images, tables, text boxes or columns.
- Titles and employers are spelled out and match my LinkedIn profile.
- Certifications carry the issue year and are current.
- I will check every pre-filled field on the portal, including Skills and Languages.
Questions people ask
Does Accenture use Workday?
Our research says large MNCs and global centres commonly use Workday, SuccessFactors or Taleo-class tools, but we could not confirm Accenture's current systems. Write for the class of system, not for a brand: standard headings, plain text and visible evidence.
Should I use words like 'global delivery' and 'onsite-offshore'?
Use them only where they describe your real work, such as time zones, stakeholders and handovers you managed. Include the result of that work next to the words, since the phrase alone adds nothing.
Is one page enough at four years of experience?
One page is the safer default up to about three years. At four, a second page is acceptable if every line on it is a result and not a duty.
What if the posting lists far more than I have?
Prove the must-haves you genuinely meet and do not claim the rest. A short honest list of skills with evidence outranks a long one without.
